APPLICATION FOR VILLA SARKIA RESIDENCY 2025

Submit your application for the Villa Sarkia writer’s residency 2025 period via this form. Villa Sarkia Residency is organized by the Nuoren Voiman Liitto and the municipality of Sysmä. The application period ends on Saturday, November 30, at 23:59.

The application should include (in PDF format):

• Work plan for the writing project
• Curriculum vitae / Resume
• Sample text in Finnish or English
• Possible letters of recommendation

Selecting “Register” below will start the form filling process, which must be completed within 30 minutes of opening. We recommend that applicants familiarize themselves with the form’s information before filling it out. It is advisable to prepare the attachments in advance.

The application can also be supplemented and edited within the application period via a link that will be sent by email.

Applicants will be notified of the decisions personally by December 13, 2024. Unfortunately, we cannot comment on the decisions.

Note! Nuoren Voiman Liitto will collect a nono-refundable registration fee from the selected residency visitors in 2025. The fee is €100.
